Bright persons with SMA

When something goes wrong in your life the easiest way to calm down it's to blame your destiny. If I was healthy, I would... Everyone can continue the phrase as one did many times. But there are a few persons who live free and reach their dreams. Nothing stops them. I'd like to tell about 4 strong women who are enough brave to go forward in spite of the SMA.

Agata Jablonska (suffering from SMA III ) together with her fiancé Peter went on cycling to Vienna. In 18 days they got over nearly 1,000 kilometers on a specially constructed distance bike. Agatha, who had previously acted as a disabled model for fashion shows of Ewa Minge wanted to prove that disability does not necessarily mean the closure in the four walls and abandoning all dreams. She is a manager in fashion model agency.

Karen Wheeler - Henderson, Nevada: Has her M.A. in Art from California State University, Fullerton. She belongs to the Vegas Artists Guild and works primarily in watercolor.  Karen  has been drawing since the age of five. Her favorite subjects were trees and female faces. Most of her early works were in watercolor, but she began working with oil paint. Humoristic pictures of animals and realistic portraits ... every work is a masterpiece.
Karen has works in five galleries and her greeting cards are being sold in 15 different locations throughout the West Coast. She has collectors who live all over the world, a list of which includes Julian Lennon, Phil Collins, Shadoe Stevens, Justin Hayward, Joan Rivers, and Steven Seagal. Other organizations Karen likes to involve herself with are the Nevada Watercolor Society, the Vegas Artists Guild and the local Muscular Dystrophy Association. She has taught beginning watercolor and given private lessons, and she is always busy painting and working on numerous art projects.

Natasha Wood - Born with SMA Natasha needs a wheelchair and her arms are so weak that she can not lift a glass of milk. But she is a successful TV producer and actress. Rolling with Laughter is a one woman play, with a mix of scenes and narration. Every character is real and every line is true. Natasha is currently writing a book and screenplay about her life.
"I'm over the moon to be performing my stage play as a benefit night for Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. It's my true story of how I made it from selling knickers and bra's on a Midlands market stall to performing in the West End via New York and Hollywood. I promise to make you laugh a lot and show you that living with a neuromuscular disorder doesn't mean you can't live your dream" (Natasha Wood)
